Elizabeth died in 1992.in Hastings Sussex.she was cremated at the borough crematorium and her ashes scattered in the Garden of Remembrance, a rose was planted in her name at the borough Church of St Clement in the old town at Hastings as she was great friends with one of the rectors a Mr Tom Savins .
