Notes
A poem was written by presumabley by Sir William's father in 1855, and it centers around all things in the garden, including flowers, etc. (Reference the Argus Newspaper in Melbourne 21 Jun 1855.
Sir William sold his home which he called "Tregoyd", in Raglan Street, Mosman in 1925. He and his wife Eliza lived there for 33 years.
Sir William who was a Chief Justice and a Governor of the State of New South Wales was given a State Funeral.
